As "Conversas do Mundo" colocam frente a frente homens ou mulheres que, nas mais diversas partes do mundo, e a partir de diferentes lugares de enunciação, partilham a luta pela dignidade humana e a reflexão sobre um outro mundo possível, necessário e urgente. Com as Conversas do Mundo pretende-se promover a valorização e a partilha da infinita diversidade do mundo. Esta Conversa do Mundo, entre Leonardo Boff e Boaventura de Sousa Santos decorreu a 9 de Outubro de 2012, em Araras, Rio de Janeiro (Brasil).
